A theory on meditation:
Meditation is a great way to get yourself focused, to get in contact with spirit side, to get questions answered, to travel and so much more.
So how does one meditate? The answer perhaps is in as many different ways as there are people doing it. You have to make your meditation technique the best technique suitable to you within the confines of a respectful and pure meditation practice.
Now the base of a basic meditation session:
- Clear your meditation space – make sure the room is silent without distractions (gentle meditation music may assist you), make sure the temperature is pleasant, make sure there are no distracting odors (incense are helpful), make sure the lighting is soft (candles will assist you) and remove physical objects that may distract you like photos, sports equipment, …
- Cleans yourself – the basics here would be to clear your thoughts and to wash your hands and face to show your intent to perform the meditation in purity. Make sure the taste in your mouth is gentle.
- Get comfortable – sit on a chair with your feet flat on the ground slightly apart with your hands on your knees OR sit flat on the ground with your legs crossed under you with your wrists on your knees, hands facing up or down OR sit in the lotus position. Whichever position you choose, make sure your back is straight for the best energy flow thru you.
- Open your session – do a prayer, give thanks and state your intent for the session
- Enjoy your meditation
- ask your question and remain patiently quiet and receptive for your answer (the answer might be revealed immediately or over multiple meditation sessions)
- speak to the entity you want to reach out to
- just quietly enjoy the harmony of the space you are in
- travel to a space you want to visit being in the past, present or future
- create a physical or conceptual design you want to materialize
- so much more…
- close your session – do a prayer, give thanks and extinguish your candles
It is vital that your meditation is in harmony with the Universe. Focusing on negative emotions or motivations will only cause harm to you. Stay honest and open and the meditation session will bring harmony to your life. Trust yourself in how your meditation session should be approached and executed. You’ll be pleasantly surprised how your experience will transform over time.
