So the perceived viewpoint on the topic of free will is that we can decide what options we take in life. We are able to alter our path even if it isn’t the path we were meant to take.
We are able to make seemingly good choices delivering the outcome we expected and at times, see an unexpected outcome. We are able to make seemingly bad choices knowing the outcome will be negative towards us and/or others and yet again, play out as expected and at times, having unexpected results.
So what if that perceived notion of free will is not the true choice that we are free to make?
Here is an alternative theory. The background: We live incarnation after incarnation learning lessons as intended with the support of our guides. We deviate from our intended path and our guides assist us gently, then subtly, then forcefully, depending on us, to get back on the right path. We are able to get off our path by deliberate and self harming decisions leading to a dire situation. Whichever path we choose, we still stay in the “system” where our guides or our detractors help steer us.
The comparison would be being in a pinball machine, you might be able to change direction somehow but eventually you go right down to the bottom to be directed again in the intended direction by the jumping levers.
So, the alternative viewpoint. What if the choice is to get out of the pinball machine? What if the choice is to elevate yourself beyond the physical boundaries and reach your higher potential?
If your mind is spinning with ideas, good. You are starting to break free too. You are the only one who can set yourself free. You are the only one who can do the research, do the hard work, do the inner search and reach closer to your true potential.
How do you get out of the system? Well that would be your special journey. Our paths are just as unique as each of us are. Remember, you are not alone on your journey.
What brought this theory forward? Reading the “Tibetan Book of the Dead” (“Bardo Thodol”) inspired the evaluation.
May the Light, Life and Love of the God of my Heart be with you all.
